Agreeing to these terms

By downloading or using any of our apps, or this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them. These terms apply alongside the terms of the app store you downloaded from, such as Google Play, which cover downloads and any purchases made there.

Children and parents

Some of our apps are made for young children. If a child uses one of our apps, the parent or guardian who set it up for them accepts these terms on the child's behalf and is responsible for how the device and the app are used.

Using our apps

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use our apps on devices you own or control, for personal, family or educational use.

You agree not to:

• copy, modify or redistribute the apps, except as the law allows
• reverse engineer the apps or try to extract their source code, except as the law allows
• use the apps for anything illegal or to harm others
• interfere with the apps or try to get around their security

Purchases

If an app ever offers anything paid, payments, renewals and refunds are handled by the app store you buy through, under its own terms and refund policy, and you'll always see the price before you buy. Our apps made for children have no in-app purchases.

Our rights

The apps, this website, and their names, characters, artwork, sounds, designs and code belong to Escape Works or our licensors. These terms don't give you any rights to them beyond the licence to use the apps described above.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we handle information when you use our apps and this website.

Changes and availability

We may update, change or stop offering an app or a feature at any time. We work to keep our apps running well, but we don't promise that they will always be available or free of errors.

Disclaimer

Our apps are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the apps will be accurate, fit for a particular purpose or uninterrupted. Our learning apps are for play and practice and aren't a substitute for professional teaching or assessment.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Escape Works is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of, or inability to use, our apps or this website.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.

Ending these terms

You can stop using our apps at any time by uninstalling them. We may suspend or end your right to use an app if you seriously break these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. If you keep using our apps after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Singapore, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts.
